About Dr. Zwerling

Charles S. Zwerling, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.I.C.S. is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist. Dr. Zwerling graduated from the Cathedral School of St. Paul, Columbia University and the University of Bologna Medical School in Italy. He received his ophthalmology training at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania and Willis Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Zwerling is a Board-Certified Diplomat by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, London, England, Fellow of the Pan American College of Physicians and Surgeons, Fellow of the American Board of Forensic Medicine, Life time Fellow of the American Board of Disability Analysts, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Also, he is the former  Clinical Assistant and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Dr. Zwerling is Founder and Chairman of the Board of the American Academy of Micropigmentation.
